Afton Mountain Vineyards is one of Virginia’s pioneer farm wineries, with the oldest of our vines dating back to the 1970s. We make Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, of course, but we also make wines found at few other Virginia wineries—Gewürztraminer and Sangiovese.
11am – 5:30pm Daily, except Tuesdays and holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Easter. 
$5 for House Tasting, $8 for Reserve Tasting per person. Our last tasting is conducted 15 minutes before closing.
We require all parties of 6 or more to please place reservations. 
Our tasting room is open year-round. Here you can taste our wines with our friendly and knowledgeable tasting room staff, enjoy a glass or bottle of our wine on our patio with beautiful panoramic views, or relax at a picnic table in the grass – perfect for families and pets and a chance to unwind surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
