Featuring The Kokomotions
The Kokomotions were formed In the early 80’s as a side project by innovator Billy Brockman, new to the area and long musical partner of Billy – Skip Haga, well experienced rhythm section consisting of Steve Riggs and Eddie Hall and wild sax man Ross Aliston. Unexpectedly, with it’s high energy, great musicianship, New Orleans flavor and really fun and danceable music, the band immediately became a force in the Charlottesville and surrounding area and turned into a full time band. Skip, Billy and Eddie began writing strong material that fit right in to the band’s feel. This continued through the 80’s until it’s demise.
Well, they’re back and much more experienced individually, playing the best of the old material and mixing in new. It’s just as much fun as it always was,
